Not Just a Ground for Learning
A school, like, STA is not just a ground for learning. It is also a ground for growth and development which serves as an extension of our homes. It is in the school where we spend much of our time—at least fourteen years in all—after which we are forced to enter the world of work.
Our school days lend us a one-time opportunity to learn about many things in life—about other individuals, and other matters through the guidance of our teachers. It is in the school that we develop and start to practice for the first time our individual God-given abilities. For instance, one annual school activity in STA is the litmus—a kind of test in which a single factor, that is, as an attitude, event, or fact—becomes a significant or decisive factor for an individual. Field demo, club activities, and the like are good venues in which a student can change his or her life forever.
It is when there is a show-casing of talents among the students in a school's annual activities; taking a rest from stressful classroom activities by hanging out with close school friends and by being connected with God in our private lives that we appreciate the importance of school education.
It would be an insult to God if we just keep our individual talents to ourselves and not share them with others who can possibly use them to further their personal growth and development.
