Batch 2009 Receive Their Diplomas

March 23, 2009 was a very special day for the Grade Six and Fourth Year students on their graduation day. The Grade Six students had their event at 8:00 in the morning at the STA covered court. The ceremony started with the Eucharistic celebration with mass presider Father Hubert Javellana, an STA alumnus who at the same time was the guest speaker. The 65 grade six pupils who received their diplomas were applauded by their proud parents who made their day more special.

On the other hand, the Fourth Year students had their turn at the STA covered court at 2:00 in the afternoon of the same day. It was witnessed by the SSJ sisters, guests, STA employees and of course, the proud parents and relatives of the graduating batch.

Another Eucharistic celebration, presided by Father Romeo Tumunong Jr, also an STAalumnus started the occasion. He emphasized in his homily that graduation is not only the day for students to rejoice but also for parents, teachers and friends who in one way or the other played a very vital role in the formation of this graduating class.

Immediately after the mass, followed the graduation ceremony. Sr. Natividad A. Maravilla, SSJ presented 53 high school students and confirmed by Mrs. Cynthia Demavivas, QIC Dep-Ed Superintendent. One of the highlights was the message to the graduates by Dr. Leah Tipagad, guest speaker and STA alumna. She gave a very inspirational message that definitely touched everyone's heart.

The whole celebration concluded with the graduation song and the STA hymn. Happiness, laughter and tears filled the atmosphere. Smiles could be seen on the faces of the students and their proud parents for they finally reaped the fruits of their labor. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CLASS OF 2009!!!
